AHA SOUND SANCTUARY TERMS OF SERVICE, CONDITIONS, PRIVACY POLICY AND LIMITATION LIABILITY

These terms & conditions apply to all work, mentorships, classes, retreats, works, healing, sessions in person and/or online to AHA Sound Sanctuary, Queen Frequency LLC and Scarlett de la Torre along with their team members, teachers, guides, guest lecturers and venues.

Payments: Payments are 100% non-refundable with no exceptions. AHA Sound Sanctuary, Scarlett de la Torre and their partners/collaborators are not responsible for anyones inability to attend an in-person or virtual intensive, workshop, session, class, program and/or meeting of any kind. Every client, student and collaborator takes full responsibility for their attendance and financial obligations listed in their enrollment packet. AHA Sound Sanctuary, Scarlett de la Torre and their partners/collaborators are not responsible for laws, rules, or decisions imposed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that affect one’s ability to attend in-person or virtual intensives. Examples include but are not limited to flight restrictions, tourism/travel/hospitality regulations imposed by the local government in relationship to the location or by the local government in relationship to the country in which the student is traveling from. 

Credit Transfer: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, if a student is unable to attend a previously booked intensive due to COVID regulations or illness, they may use their tuition payment only as a full credit for another date or location. Credit transfers are only good for 1 transfer and must be used within 1 year of initial program start date. Any food and lodging fees submitted are subject to the policy of the center, venue and/or resort. 

Payment Plans: The Payment Plan is non-negotiable and includes and reflects any and all savings, special offers, or discounts attached to your enrollment. No further savings, discounts, or special offers will be applied after enrollment. The registration fee is included in all payment plans, and is not an additional charge. 

Transcripts, Manual, Course Content and Certificates of Completion: Students not in good financial or academic standing will not be entitled to receive copies of transcripts, the course content, or certificates of completion/certification post-course unless and until they are in good financial and academic standing.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Whilst we shall do our best in providing techniques and structured practice which have proved – in others – to improve their singing, we give no warranty that, as a result of the lessons, you will be able to sing at all or to sing better than at the start of the lessons.

We shall not conduct any medical tests as to the suitability of any student to learning to sing. You agree to participate in singing lessons voluntarily, and, unless you tell us otherwise, we shall assume that you are in good health.

Whilst the Program will endeavor to ensure that no exercises or vocal instruction given will cause injury or pain, using poor technique or excessive misuse of the voice may during or outside of your lesson may cause injury. You are responsible for telling your teacher if you experience any pain or discomfort during your lessons. We 

In particular, students must understand that there is an increased risk of injury or vocal damage in singing or performing any of the given exercises while ill or recovering from illness, particularly if such illness is of the vocal tract and airways.

Neither The Program nor any guest teachers will be liable to you for any pain, injury or vocal damage brought about during or in exercises following a lesson.

In any case where SVT or an individual teacher is shown to have been in breach of contract or to have been negligent, our liability shall be limited to the value of the lesson(s) bought or the sum of $1,000, whichever is the greater.

The Information We Collect

A. From You. Additional information about yourself that you voluntarily provide to us (e.g., via a survey), such as household income range, gender, product and service preferences, and other information that does not identify you personally.

B. From Your Activity. Information that we automatically collect when you use the Websites, including, without limitation:

Information Collected by or Through Third-Party Advertising Companies

Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account or their Orders. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.

How We Use and Share the Information

We use the Personal Information, the Order Information, the Billing Information, and the Other Information (collectively, the “Information”) to provide our services; to process Orders; to administer our rewards and promotional programs; to maintain and improve our Websites and services to you; to solicit your feedback; and to inform you about our products and services and those of our third-party marketing partners.

We may also use and/or share Information as described below.

Examples may include providing technical assistance, Order fulfillment, customer service, and marketing assistance. Information You Share
